Greater Moncton is New Brunswick's largest metropolitan area, situated at the geographic centre of the Maritime provinces. While primarily urban, the region provides quick access to the crown land of the Acadian Peninsula to the north, the Fundy coast to the south, and the Miramichi region to the west.
