The Appalachian Range Route crosses the highlands of western New Brunswick along the Quebec border through the Restigouche watershed and the Appalachian Mountains. Crown land in this rugged region offers some of the province's best moose and bear hunting, fly-fishing in remote rivers, and four-season backcountry touring on forest roads.
